The Pattern 99 is a top range free skating blade of the highest quality benefiting from an enlarged top toe pick, giving precise toe spotting.
The John Wilson Pattern 99 blade is no stranger to the podium. It is one of the most popular profiles in the world as it consistently delivers maximum performance to high-end freestyle skaters. The primary 8 ft radius works wonderfully for Japanese sensation Shoma Uno who uses the Pattern 99’s tapered top toe pick for precision toe spotting on explosive jumps. This standard blade is ‘the real McCoy’ – it’s not comparable to anything, it’s not similar to anything, it’s the original. If you’re emerging as an elite level skater with powerful jumps and seek more control by being lower to the ice, this blade is undoubtedly your best option in our range – just ask our very own Shoma Uno

How to choose the Correct Blade Size
To select the correct blades size, you first need to turn your boot upside down and measure the sole down the center of the boot from the edge of the heel to the tip of the toe.
The recommended blade size is 1/4″ less than the total length of the sole. The image above shows the sole length to be 10″. so the recommended blade size is 9.75″
